Dutch Experience 01 - Castrolanda and Carambeí
A true journey into Dutch culture. Visit the Castrolanda Cultural Center, featuring the Dutch Immigration Windmill (with blades spanning 26 meters—one of the largest windmills in the world) and local handicrafts.
After lunch, visit the Carambeí Historical Park, which preserves the legacy of Dutch immigrants: gardens, an amphitheater, a memorial house, a pastry shop, and a restaurant. The trip is approximately 165 km from Curitiba to Castrolanda, with the return trip at the end of the day.
The Carambeí Historical Park recreates the village of Dutch immigrants, featuring traditional houses, gardens, a bakery, and a restaurant, preserving the colony’s history and culture.
What's Included
Transportation, guidance from an accredited Paraná Regional Tour Guide, meals, and insurance. Admission to the Moinho Museum and Historical Park (optional). Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
