Who is behind Ivetur?

A certified tour guide, registered with CADASTUR, who has turned decades of experience into a well-known travel agency in Curitiba: specializing in inbound tourism in Paraná as well as outbound tourism, planning trips throughout Brazil and around the world.

Founder

Ivete Fagundes

Regional, national, and Latin American tour guide trained by SENAC PR, with a college degree in Social Studies. Between 1980 and 1990, she traveled to all of Brazil’s state capitals. Beginning in 1990, she specialized in international itineraries for the United States, the Caribbean, and the Bahamas, and developed training materials for tour guides working at Disney World parks in Florida.

She served as National President of the Brazilian Association of Tour Guides (ABGTUR) for four terms (2001 to 2009), a member of the Tourism Council of the Paraná Department of Tourism and the Curitiba Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Director of Tourism for the Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs at Fecomércio PR.

She is a member of the Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs—Fecomercio—and the Sicredi Campos Gerais Women’s Committee

He began his career in tourism by visiting all of Brazil's state capitals.

He is certified as a Regional (Paraná), National, and Latin American Tour Guide.

1990

He launched an international tourism business, specializing in itineraries for the United States, the Caribbean, and the Bahamas. He developed a training program for tour guides working at Disney World parks (Florida, U.S.).

It launched the “Quality Leisure” Project, which was entrusted to Paraná Turismo.

Ivetur Milestone

1995

Ivetur Is Born

Ivetur was founded and registered by Embratur in the state's interior. That is where the agency's history began.

Ivetur Arrives in Curitiba

The agency was relocated from the countryside to Curitiba in order to better serve its clients.

National President of the Brazilian Association of Tour Guides (ABGTUR) for four terms, each lasting two years.

Member of the Tourism Council of the Curitiba Convention & Visitors Bureau and founding member of the Tourism Development Agency of the Southern Macroregion of Brazil.

Member of the State Tourism Council of the Paraná Department of Tourism, the Curitiba Municipal Tourism Institute, and the Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs and Business Managers of Fecomércio PR.
